Fostering Talents, Strengths and Career Aspirations
Jason joined U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management because of the strong capabilities, exceptional talent and extraordinary commitment his colleagues have toward addressing complex financial issues and driving meaningful outcomes for clients.
Jason’s philosophy comes from Stephen Covey’s best-selling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. “Seek first to understand, then to be understood,” he says.
This philosophy guides Jason’s work each day. Jason says he manifests this philosophy through genuine interest in other people and by following the golden rule — to treat others as you would want to be treated yourself.
Jason believes your intentions, words and actions all need to align, and when they do, you can build and maintain great relationships that add valuable meaning to both work and life.
Education and community involvement
Jason graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Business in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with a finance degree. He has completed several executive development courses, including the Advanced Leadership Program at Rotman School of Management, Bank Marketing, Risk Management and Leadership at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of Banking and Cannon Trust School through Cannon Financial Institute.
Jason currently serves as a Board Member at The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts – a Twin Cities-based nonprofit serving as the flagship center for dance in Minnesota that welcomes diverse performing arts partners and audiences to its stages, rehearsal spaces, education studios and offices.
