John Benevides provides vision, strategic and operational leadership in service to clients across the Eastern Region of U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management. As East U.S. President, his responsibilities include delivering integrated wealth management services on behalf of high net worth clients and championing teams across the region as they engage with clients to help them work toward their goals. John leads teams servicing clients out of offices in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Louisville, Naples, Nashville, New York and Palm Beach. In Private Wealth Management, the integrity of leadership, the culture of the firm, the non-product orientation of advice and the focus on serving clients first is a rare combination in today’s marketplace.” John’s background includes more than 25 years of wealth management and financial services experience, including serving as president and CEO of CTC myCFO, an integrated wealth management provider and a subsidiary of the Bank of Montreal. He also directed the activities of BMO Delaware Trust Company and led the ultra-high-net-worth activities of BMO Harris Private Bank. Prior to that, he was co-owner and president of Family Office Exchange, where he guided the firm’s strategy, drove its growth and built out its differentiation in strategic research for wealthy families. John previously served as managing director of Financial Services for the publicly traded Corporate Executive Board (CEB). Education and community involvement John serves as a board member and chair of the finance committee for the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center (CAC). In 2018 he joined the board and serves as a trustee for the Cincinnati Zoo. He is also a board member, chairing and participating on various committees for the Cincinnati Regional Business Committee (CRBC) and YPO Cincinnati. He is the former chairman and executive committee member for the YPO Global Family Business Network. He is often tapped as a featured speaker and presenter at industry events, and has been quoted in Barron’s, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Family Wealth Report, Private Wealth and Investment News, among others. |
