Chady AlAhmar, Head of Business Development

Chady AlAhmar

Head of Business Development

“I love coming to work every day, having the opportunity to spend time with smart, engaged people who really care about deepening our client relationships.”

Chady AlAhmar has a clear perspective about what’s important in life. “Family, friends, colleagues — nurturing and cherishing personal relationships is very important to me, as I know it is to our clients.”

As the Head of Strategy and Business Development, Chady applies his international perspective and experience with domestic financial services companies to design and execute business strategies for U.S. Bank Wealth Management. Prior to joining U.S. Bank in 2010, he held strategy, finance and management consulting positions, and ran his own management consulting firm for several years.

The strong team environment is one of the attributes that attracted Chady to U.S. Bank. He embraces the idea of working with purpose every day.  “I take pride in doing the right thing and putting people first. I perceive success as making things happen for my team, for our organization and for our clients. If they are successful, I’ll be successful.” While Chady’s work is focused on strategy and business development, he is continuously reminded that “culture eats strategy for lunch, and a strategy is merely an idea if not implemented.” Chady’s team also uses the power of data analytics to efficiently implement strategies, better serve our clients and grow the business.

Education and community involvement
After earning an electrical engineering degree from the American University of Beirut, Chady moved to Europe for an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the ESCP Europe in Paris. He also holds a degree in financial management from the University of St. Thomas School of Business in Minneapolis.

Chady is on the boards of the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library, Saint Hubert’s School and he is an active member of the Downtown Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club (15 years). He is a former board member of the Friends of Hennepin County Libraries and of Saint Maron Church. He is fluent in three languages, including Arabic and French.
