As Market Leader for The Private Client Reserve in San Diego, John and his team of wealth management professionals provide clients with investment management, private banking, trust and estate services, and financial planning. A San Diego resident since 1981, John has been in finance for over 30 years, 12 of those in wealth management for U.S. Bank. He finds the broad scope of wealth management appealing, and especially enjoys working with entrepreneurs. “I appreciate planning and problem solving with people who embody the entrepreneurial spirit, which is strong in California.”

Having benefited from candid advice and encouragement at key points in his career, John provides the same to his clients and his team. “Clients can find information through the media or online, but they look to a trusted advisor for insight and perspective based on their unique situation and needs. John is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Indiana and attended the Stanford Graduate Program of Credit and Management. He is involved in a number of community organizations, including the San Diego Symphony board of directors, a natural fit considering his love for music.

John enjoys golf, gardening and road trips throughout the United States.
